We need to communicate more. With words, images, sounds, with stories, in form and color, about the normal, about taboos and what is kept silent. I saw a lot of openness during my studies and hope we can bring some of it from our design bubble into the world to create more understanding and awareness of diversity.

Room for Fear

An immersive, atmospheric spatial production with interactive mixed reality elements.

You stand at the pitch-black cellar entrance and have to force yourself to take the first step into the blackness. You actually know that there is nothing more than junk and dust waiting for you there – actually.
We give this uncanny feeling, the state of suspension between tension and tangible fear, a physical space in our bachelor’s project. In a dark environment, peppered with oppressive elements, we want to make this emotional state tangible and tangible through multimedia.
Using light, sound and projections, the production is intended to encourage people to reflect on and understand their personal feelings and irrational fears.
