Bachelor
Product Design

What is important to me in design is the combination of design, craftsmanship and process. To meet the needs of people, materials and the environment equally. The creative process, from the idea to the tangible artifact, in its entirety.
My design is technical and functional; I like to design things that have a practical use.

Drehsel

A product for multifunctional load transport by bicycle and on foot for independent and sustainable mobility in flexible usage scenarios.

My bachelor’s project deals with the development of a flexible means of transport that can be used by bike and on foot. Drehsel serves to help people independently manage their daily transportation needs. Cycling routes in the city are more environmentally friendly and often quicker than traveling by car. Because it can be converted into a handcart, loads can be moved over stairs and other obstacles. Securing the load is playful and intuitive, while the modular design offers space for many tailor-made solutions in a wide range of applications, from leisure to commercial. This makes it possible to rethink mobility and make alternative ways of transporting goods easier and more flexible for users.
