The inspiration for my design comes from the variety of social projects. She draws from interaction with people, their stories and needs. Through this emotional connection, I develop creative designs and authentic solutions. My approach is to transform complex topics into simple visual messages that have a positive impact.

PROTO
A digital and analogue accompaniment to support children in radiation therapy.
The diagnosis of cancer presents many families with an extreme and highly emotional challenge. The stressful and unknown processes of treatment are associated with fear, especially for children.
At this point PROTO is intended to provide holistic support. PROTO helps families as a friend and companion to overcome the difficulties of radiation therapy. The combination of stuffed animal and app is intended to create trust in medical processes and make information about treatment easily accessible. At eye level, we educate, learn and practice in a playful way, without forgetting to let the child be a child.
Through our collaboration with the West German Proton Therapy Center Essen (WPE), where between 200 to 300 children suffering from cancer are irradiated every year, we were able to gain important and practical insights.
