Comics have always appealed to me as a reader, but then also as an illustrator during my design studies. I am particularly interested in how to make complex thoughts and feelings tangible through illustration. Be it with acrylic paint on paper or digitally – I like to experiment with colors and my style to find the right expression for the story I want to tell.
Fuzz in the head
A digitally developed comic about uncertainty. Realized as a bound comic book.
Emma doesn’t know whether her appointment that evening is a date or a friendly meeting. She tries her best not to worry too much about it, but as she struggles with what to wear, her excitement begins to turn to nervousness. Because how can she live up to expectations if she doesn’t even know what is expected? And what does she actually want? Would she be disappointed or relieved if it really ended up being just a meeting between friends? Luckily, her cat is there to help her so that she doesn’t completely lose herself in her uncertainty.
