Product Design

For me, design has the potential to shape the future. That’s why the idea of sustainability is always particularly important to me in my projects. What particularly excites me about product design is the creative process and the craftsmanship. I like to use photography as a “digital balance”.

MODULOAM

A new interpretation of the natural material clay as a modular system.

Clay is a raw material that is still used primarily in architecture today. But despite its versatility, the material is rarely used in Europe. Raw clay is not only an interesting material because of its feel and appearance, it also offers ecological advantages and helps to improve the indoor climate by regulating air humidity and binding odors and pollutants from the environment. In my project I deal with the changeability of the material and examine its potential and challenges.
My goal is to create a symbiosis of function and aesthetics that presents the material in a more accessible context.
