Artificial intelligence in product design
A guide to enriching creative workflows.
Like many other design students, I chose this course of study because I really enjoy the creative design and creation of things. About a year ago, my interest in artificial intelligence was sparked by the hype surrounding “ChatGPT” and the “Midjourney” image generator. However, the question quickly arose in my mind: “Will the job I have chosen soon be done by robots?”
The technology behind these developments piqued my curiosity. In my bachelor’s thesis, I tested various AI tools and developed a guide that preserves the fun of designing but enriches the processes through AI.
