Hi! I am Johanna, 24 years old and a media designer with a focus on web design, development and user experience in @Münster, Germany. I like films. Draw. Typography. Sea. English. Books. Plant. Poetry. Sun. And cats. Storytelling is a very central element in my design – it awakens emotions, can trigger thoughts and thus offers space for shared exchange.

Dopamin and you

An interactive storytelling website that makes the influence of “dopamine” on our everyday lives visible and tangible.

Dopamine-stimulating sensory overload is now present everywhere without many of us really being aware of it: be it through food, social media, shopping or constantly reaching for our smartphone. With so many temptations, it’s hard not to fall into the trap of overconsumption. Maybe you increasingly feel exhausted, tired or listless? And yet sometimes you can’t help but distract yourself with entertaining rewards or lose yourself in escapism? Many people feel the same way. But why is that actually the case? With my project I would like to educate people about this exciting and complex topic, create space for thoughts and mindfulness and want to inspire.
