Design brings with it the opportunity and obligation to face challenges. For me this means breaking new ground, finding and creating perspectives and solutions. I rely on curiosity, openness and efficient action. When it comes to product design, it is important to me to work tactilely, so I always keep the project in mind, receive direct feedback, and needs can be identified.

Hive

Modular system for green places in urban areas

Sealed ground surfaces heat up when temperatures rise, heat accumulates and the local climate there changes negatively. At the same time, structural densification offers little space for inner-city greenery. This is where Hive comes in: a green place in urban space that, with its modules, brings the natural world and plants into the city, gives it space and allows us humans to benefit from it. In addition to the integrated plants that provide shade and cool their surroundings, there is space for encounters. A place is created that invites you to take a deep breath, pause and pause. Functionally and aesthetically developed, Hive shows that outdoor space design can be green and diverse. Hive creates a place where people come together – between people and with nature – and thus promotes diverse forms of exchange.
