For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to shape the world around me. For this reason, I decided to study design and completed my bachelor’s degree with a focus on illustration at the Münster School of Design. In order to deepen my creative identity and think outside the box, I then decided to do a master’s degree.

AI and the value of human-made illustration

In my project, as an illustrator and designer, I playfully engage with generative technology.

We’ll all be unemployed soon anyway. Or not? This question concerns employees in general and illustrators in particular. Since the advent of generative technologies that can automatically generate content using artificial intelligence (AI)-supported software, the illustration scene has been divided: some accusingly predict the end of the craft, others praise AI and swear that without it we are no longer up to date. In my project, I have set myself the task of developing playful experiments in dealing with AI in co-authorship with volunteer colleagues, which can serve as an introduction to the topic.
