As a media designer, I live out my passion for photography. Cameras fascinate me, and that interest has given rise to a true devotion. Capturing emotions through photography brings me joy.
During my studies I delved into various aspects of media design. From creative play with light and perspective to collaboration on projects, the entire creative process inspires me. Different elements can be used to capture moods and stories in unique ways.
Between hope and asphalt
With my photo report I would like to sensitize society to the reality and complexity of the life situations of homeless people.
A broken marriage, a job loss, a serious illness, an accident, a drastic stroke of fate, a complicated family environment, alcohol and drug consumption. Critical life events can change everything overnight, and the people in my book are representative of many.
In my bachelor’s thesis I take photographs
deals with the stories of various people from Münster who are or were homeless. Equipped with my camera, I went out several times a week looking for people who were willing to tell me their story. I met numerous people in Münster’s city center and had interesting and long conversations. My conversation partners were surprisingly open and let me share their stories.
