As a designer, in this world of overconsumption, I explore what contributions I can make creatively to show other perspectives. My focus is on creating conscious messages in the form of products that combine craftsmanship and functionality. With my designs I strive to achieve meaningfulness and sustainability, to set a counterpoint and to focus on the essentials.

People make clothes

Where do our clothes come from and who makes them? The focus of the exhibition is on raising awareness of the production of clothing and the people behind it.

In this world of abundance, I want to open eyes to the invisible connections that shape our world. The history of a piece of clothing begins long before the clothes rack. The exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the complex web of human stories behind the textiles. The patch with the inscription “People make clothes” serves not only as a symbol, but also as a talisman. As a constant companion for visitors, it becomes a reminder of the connection between consumers and producers.
“What do I really need?” becomes the central question to bring about a change in thinking and promote more conscious decisions.
This exhibition calls for reflection and change by reminding us that our choices as consumers influence the life stories of those who make our clothes.
